I ordered, but even if the two panels and mounting kits have been insufficient and this package was a good fight – only a very thin cardboard for something that weighs 60 pounds and no signs good bubble. A corner of the seal was broken. It is good and the charge controller and inverter are missing. The panels seem OK, but I advise buyers to examine the package. Maybe Amazon should cost $ 20 more for the packaging. Howevever good value for enventually I do!

I bought this kit for mounting on the roof of my motorhome. The delivery was delayed and rescheduled several times, so that the delivery was difficult, but everything was in good condition. In short, I was ecstatic about the PV panels, and pretty “meh” for everything else.
So much talk about: The windows are fantastic. Well-done, long warranty, and they consistently produce more of the specified current when sunlight directly (12 amps is not unprecedented, according to display charge controller, but just a few minutes each day … It hovers often between 6 and 10 in the peak hours of sun per day). I will not hesitate to buy more solar panels Sharp when it comes time to expand my collection.
The rest of the whole, however, remains weak.
The worst rate is the lack of documentation. The solar panels have the documentation, but it covers the installation of permanent structures, and with consoles completely different from those prescribed in the sentence. Wiring example of documentation solar panel has no relation with how this kit would be linked to a motor home or boat. This charge controller is also a small booklet, but there is nothing to install signs or lines in a motor home or boat. So, you’re all alone when it comes to bolt down and lines up, it’s not rocket science, but it is not obvious. I sent an email to Sunforce few questions I had about the installation and got no response.
Sunforce UPS is cheaply made. Even if it works, it is noisy and gets pretty hot. The fan has also started to make sounds disgusting in four months, I’ve used. I bought a 1000W inverter Wagan lately, and it is quieter and cooler. Even before the fan started making noise, the converter itself was a sharp buzz.
Provided meters cc is less than nothing. I could not see the LED lights when the sun was strong enough to control the solar panels. Fortunately, I have a DMM Nice, I just throw the counter DC. It DMM less than ten dollars at Amazon I’m sure it’s better than what voltmeter.
cable that is thinner than the documentation suggests that you use the series of this length, and covers only part of the controller board, and not run from the regulator the bank to the battery. So you have yourself there.
Bastions had a pair of threaded rods, this was not practical and a time waster. Thus, the QC during the packaging process is relatively lax.
Charge Controller Sunforce is the only component in the kit marked I really like. It is small, it’s cheap, and it does the job safely and with reasonable lighting and signage. It is not hot, do not make noise, and good looks to the wall in my motorhome. I have no complaints on this.
So to summarize: Large solar panels, charge controller decent, but this kit is too expensive at full price. I paid around $ 850, which was roughly the same price as the two panels themselves at this time, so a very good deal. These days, with prices to be back up to $ 1,000, you would be much better to buy the panels independently and use the balance of $ 200 to buy a charge controller, high quality (Sunforce works Alternatively, you can get for about $ 30, I think), very thick copper wire, twisted converter quality and more brackets (hopefully with the literature on the use of these materials). If you do not have a DMM, pick it up. You spend about the same, and finish with a configuration much better when you’re done. . . and with a thick thread of Nice, you can add more panels later without having to run out of yarn, which is not something I can say for my installation.

Good product, well made and even in winter on the flat, which spends more than 6 amps on top of my RV.
