    As my first investment in solar was a sign of Nice. I have about a month. I coupled with a “Xantrex Technologies 802-1500 Xpower Powerpack 1500 Watt Portable Backup Power System” and “Sunforce 60032 30 Amp Digital Charge Controller. The panel is 12 volts, 4. 6 amps, but at this point I look up to 13 6 volts and 5 amps. I suspect that over time it weakens the panel will be about 12 volts, 4. 6 Amp. The panel was easy to connect and you get what was required. I have not bought a new thread because I needed more distance when I installed it. I can charge the battery died full time in 2 days. If I had to rotate the panel by day I feel I could be completely recharged in 1 day.

    Nice backup load and learning. For any real application you would need a ton anyway.

  2. I bought 4 of these solar panels. They were easy to install and worked very well for the last month. They operated in the neighborhood of 80 watts each specified which is pretty good for December in Utah.

    Committee took into Death Valley for a few days to recharge my battery and trailer while I was running and iPod portable stereo for hours at night, load quickly, the battery the next morning. Creating a solid tripod / rack to hold it upright with PVC pipes that are easy to disassemble, lock and safe. At 80 watts, it’s just a sign that some units have 3 panels 65watt.

    sure to size your system correctly to minimize voltage drops in your UPS.

    Sunforce is not the cheapest, but still a good price and a good solid product with a warranty of 25 years.

    Note: SOLAR get an assessment – you can not claim tax credits if you do not!

    also do math yourself. If you live on the 43rd parallel and get 4th 4 hours sunshine a day on average do not place them at 43 degrees! Tilt the approximate angle of the summer sun.
