Some people may not want to admit it, but the world is moving slowly toward an energy crisis. Non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels are much closer than you think to disappear. We always knew that the energy we use everyday is not unlimited, but he is constantly taken for granted. Oil, gas, electricity, even water has limited availability. However, we were not close enough precautions to deal with a very real threat of an energy crisis. When I say ‘we’ I am not referring to the governments of the world, but for all of us ordinary people. We are the ones who can make a difference.

To counteract this crisis, it is important that we learn to reduce our dependence on energy is not renewable and start focusing on energy solutions that can give us a constant source of energy that does not exhaust resources. There are 3 major energy reserves in this category: hydro, wind and solar.

Let us look first at Hydro.

Hydropower is the most common form of renewable energy in the world. It is usually produced on a large scale in the form of hydroelectric dams. Although it is a renewable energy source, hydropower is with some drawbacks. Hydroelectric projects have been known to have adverse effects on surrounding aquatic ecosystems. One example is that there are studies that have shown that dams along the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of North America have reduced salmon populations by preventing access to spawning grounds upstream. A major disadvantage of hydroelectric power in isolated cases, the risk of dam failure. In southern China, resulting Banquio dam burst, killing 171,000 people and millions homeless. Although it is an effective source of renewable energy, it is not as green as the other 2 main sources of renewable energy, wind energy and solar energy.

Let us look at the wind.

Windmills have been around for thousands of years. They are older than the electricity itself. In the pre-industrialization of the time they were used for boats and motor boats, they were used to pump water, and were used as a means of natural ventilation in buildings.

Wind energy has many advantages: it causes do not pollute at all. It consumes no fuel and has virtually no effect on the environment at all. Wind energy can help generate tonnes of megawatts of electricity. When an employee at home, it may help to eliminate the conventional energy sources that reduce your electricity bill and can even eliminate it completely. Wind energy is an excellent source of constant, renewable energy.

Finally, let’s look at solar energy.

Solar energy is undoubtedly the most accessible source of continuing, renewable energy on the planet. It is easy to give the present world’s total energy needs several times. Energy Solutions solar home is another way to drastically reduce the power bills or even eliminate them altogether. In addition, solar energy without environmental impact at all. It is the main source of green power in the world.
